The Energy Audit

Your nervous system is constantly managing energy, where it flows, where it pools, what receives it, what doesn't. Most people move through their days without noticing these patterns until exhaustion forces them to stop.

This practice builds awareness before that happens.

How to Practice

1. Pause wherever you are.
Place one hand on your belly and one on your heart.

2. Ask your body: "Where do I feel energy right now?"
Notice what arises. Warmth in your chest? Heaviness in your shoulders? Buzzing in your head?

3. Then ask: "What does this energy want to do?"
Does it want to move? Rest? Express? Release?

4. Notice without changing anything.
This is information, not a problem to solve.

5. Take three slow breaths, tracking how the energy shifts (or doesn't) with each exhale.

Use This Practice

• First thing in the morning to check in with how you're starting the day
• Before making decisions about how to spend your time
• When you notice yourself pushing through fatigue
• Anytime you want to understand what your body actually needs

The power is in noticing. Your body's energy patterns are always communicating. This practice helps you hear what they're saying.
