FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

Your session time is reserved just for you. To honor the rhythm of our practice and those on the waitlist, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed appointments—will be charged the full session amount.

Thank you for respecting this container of care.

How do I get the most out of my session?

Your body is wise—it knows how to heal when given space and support. Here's how to prepare for and integrate your session:

Before You Arrive

• Wear comfortable clothing; remove belts or pocket items.

• Silence your phone for uninterrupted presence.

• Avoid arriving on a full stomach if possible.

During Your Session

• Close your eyes, breathe softly, and tune inward.

• Touch may be gentle, structural, subtle, or deep—guided by what your body needs.

• Your body may stretch, sigh, emote, or shift—this is part of the healing.

• Trust what arises—your system may release patterns held for a long time.

After Your Session

• Drink water, rest, and nourish yourself well.

• Move gently if working out—allow time for integration.

• Feeling lighter, tender, or more spacious is common.

If you have questions or unexpected sensations arise, we welcome your reach-out. Your process matters—and we’re here for it.

What is your approach to adjusting?

Every session at Life Force Chiropractic is a quiet conversation with your body.

We draw from a range of gentle, intuitive techniques to support what your system is ready to release or reorganize.

Your care may include:

• Subtle chiropractic adjustments

• Craniosacral work

• Myofascial unwinding

• Reiki energy healing

• Somatic dialogue

Our approach is rooted in Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI)—a framework that helps us understand how the body stores unprocessed tension, emotion, and experience. Through this lens, we support the body in reorganizing itself with presence, safety, and precision.

No two sessions are the same—your care is unique, just like your story.

Do you require X-rays?

We trust the body to show us what it needs.

In most cases, X-rays or imaging are not necessary. We use your system’s own indicators—posture, breath, tone, and responsiveness—to guide care.

If you've had a recent injury, trauma, or persistent symptoms, we may recommend imaging or collaborate with your provider for clarity and safety.

What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first session is a gentle landing. We’ll begin with your health history, explore your body’s rhythms, and provide hands-on care tailored to what your system is ready for.

Adjustments are gentle, intuitive, and deeply attuned.

You can choose a 30- or 60-minute session. If you're unsure, we’re happy to help you decide.

Do you accept insurance?

We are an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice. This allows us to offer spacious, personalized care—guided by your body, not by billing codes.

We’re happy to provide a superbill for clients with out-of-network chiropractic benefits to submit for possible reimbursement.

Why would children need to see a chiropractor?

From birth through childhood, the nervous system is constantly adapting and learning how to “be” in a body.

We offer gentle, intuitive care for infants, toddlers, and children using light touch—often less pressure than checking a peach. Babies often sleep through sessions. Young children may play or move freely while receiving care.

Infants may carry tension from:

• In-utero constraint

• Fast or difficult birth

• Feeding or digestive challenges

• Birth trauma or medical intervention

Chiropractic care helps unwind early stress, supporting ease in feeding, bonding, sleep, and development.

As children grow, bumps, falls, and emotional stress can create patterns that affect coordination, behavior, and regulation. Regular care supports resilience, clarity, and integration.

If your baby has experienced a difficult birth or you notice early nervous system challenges, please reach out. In some cases, we can arrange a gentle postnatal home visit during the tender early days.
