Meet Your Doctor

Dr. Alandi Stec, DC, is a vitalistic chiropractor who believes that within the body - movement is intelligence, sensation is information, and awareness is the vehicle between the two. In practice, her presence is paralleled only by her intention. Her adept touch guides her patients, connecting them back to self. She skillfully interweaves their current physical and emotional presentations,  integrating these states to enhance health and healing. She uses breath, postural positioning, stretching, light and gentle tissue work, cranial sacral technique, reiki energy healing, and traditional chiropractic adjustments (within the spine and extremities) to guide the body through its integration of stored tension patterns.

Dr. Alandi’s approach is gentle, specific, and connective and aspires to wake up the animating force within. She has helped individuals from high-level athletes to athletic lifestyle enthusiasts to grandmas and grandpas, pregnant mammas and expecting pappas, young adults to youth and to newborns, high-level executives, and individuals experiencing mental stress and fatigue. Dr. Alandi thrives in helping those with a variety of struggles or simply curious to learn real solutions for their chronic pain, sleeplessness, anxiety, depression, dysautonomia, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica and lower back pain to name a few.

Dr. Alandi received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West (graduating with clinical honors)  and her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from San Francisco State University (earning honors of Phi Beta Kappa). She is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Dr. Alandi is passionate about learning and continues to evolve her studies through chiropractic seminars with world-renowned experts such as Dr. Eric Rubin, DC, and Dr. Monique Andrews, Embodied Neuroscientist. She remains committed to her first passion - yoga and asana studies with Noah Mazé, as well as yoga philosophy and meditation coursework with Christopher Hareesh Wallis, PhD. Her personal interests include exploring nature (hiking, backpacking, cycling), plant-based cuisine, and international travel. Dr. Alandi has proudly assisted the world-renowned Walnut Creek Aquanuts Artistic Swimming Team. Her elite athletic background, combined with her passion for the innate intelligence that drives the human form, informs her unique and insightful vision of functional movement and the healing arts.
